Hannah & Andy

Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard

Join us to celebrate our wedding in a place that we both love.

Over the last four years together, we’ve had countless adventures and seen some amazing places. We both have a love for the mountains, whether that be hiking in Wanaka or skiing in the Alps. Lake Annecy is somewhere we’ve enjoyed visiting regularly and we want to celebrate our marriage in this special place with our friends and family present.

Celebrate with us

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of love and celebration at Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard!

Our wedding is on Saturday the 13th September. If you’re around on Sunday 14th, we’d love to get together on the beach in Talloires to hopefully enjoy some sunshine. Arrive from 1:30pm at Talloires beach, don’t forget your swimwear! We’ll provide some beach games, but please bring some drinks and snacks (there’s also a beach bar/pizzeria next door).

Travel & Stay

To make the most of the weekend’s celebrations we recommend staying in either Talloires or Menthon-St-Bernard. These towns around Lake Annecy are accessible by car or public bus (from Annecy itself), and our favourites!

There’s a range of accommodation options in both towns, including hotels, Air B&Bs, campsites and other holiday rentals. We’d recommend looking on booking.com, Airbnb, VRBO and expedia.com for rentals, and there are campsites in the area too (some have mobile home options if you don’t fancy a tent!) .

Let's celebrate in a place special to us!

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for and we appreciate that traveling abroad for a wedding is a lot to ask! If you did wish to give a gift, contributions to our honeymoon fund are appreciated but not in any way expected. We will let you know what we put this towards, whether it be a relaxing couples massage, or an experience together. More information here.

Dress Code

Formal attire: Please take this as an opportunity to dress up smart! We suggest men wear a suit and women wear a dress (with bright celebratory colours welcome). We aren’t big fans of wedding hats/fascinators, so please don’t feel the need to wear these.  The ground will be uneven in places if that helps women with their footwear choices.
