FAQ’s

  • If you have children, Andy and Hannah will have reached out to you directly to discuss your arrangements. The Saturday wedding will be adults only so you can relax and celebrate with us, however kids are more than welcome to join us for the continued celebrations at Talloires beach the day after.

  • September weather is typically low-mid 20°Cs in the day, cooling down to around 15°C in the evening. While we are hopeful for sun, the weather in the mountains can change pretty quickly, with thunderstorms not uncommon at that time of year.

  • The ceremony will be indoors, but we are hoping to have the rest of the day time celebrations and wedding breakfast outside (weather permitting). We will be going inside for the band/dancing once the sun sets. We would recommend bringing an extra layer for when it cools down in the evening and an umbrella if the weather isn’t looking good.

  • Formal attire: Please take this as an opportunity to dress up smart! We suggest men wear a suit and women wear a dress (with bright celebratory colours welcome).

We aren’t big fans of wedding hats/fascinators, so please don’t feel the need to wear these.

The ground will be uneven in places if that helps women with their footwear choices.

  • Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, but after this we would love for you to take as many pictures as you’d like and share them on the QR code provided.

  • We want everyone to have a great time, so ladies we would recommend bringing a change of footwear.

  • There is parking available at the Chateau and you can leave your car there overnight if required (pick up by 3pm on Sunday)
